Rippa Rugby

Yesterday we had a ripper rugby tournament. All the year 5&6 and the year 7&8 were so excited to go against the other schools when we got there 3 students from Otahuhu College came to help with our game there names were Manu,Rulon & Paea. They were so helpful it awesome because we got better and better during our games the first game we went against Bailey Road it was a tough game but we got a draw but we won because we got the first try. On our second game we went against Point England it was a good and hard game with them the score was 7-2 at least we got some tries. After that we went against Tamaki Primary they were easy and hard at the same time we had fun versing them, Lucky we won the game because we had to believe in ourselves thank you to our coach Rulon for giving us some advise. On our fourth game we went against Sylvia Park It was cool to see everyone in our team taking turns on our field and seeing the other teams in our school supporting us during our game unfortunately we lost by 2. Our fifth game we versed Glen Brae it was pretty hard unfortunately we lost 3-1. When we finished they told us if we can have another game and we all got excited it was a friendly game with Sylvia Park surprisingly we won the game. We would like to say thank you to Mr Ogilive teaching the team some new skills also our coaches Manu,Rulon,Paea and Lesley - (there coach for Otahuhu College) Panmure Bridge school would like to thank you guys so much for looking after us during our games also teaching us even more skills and giving some of there rugby balls we/I really Appreciate Thank you so much and congratulation to those who took part.

  1. What a fabulous recount of your day Cecillia! I am once again pleased to see that you have thanked the adults who came and supported you. That is an important part of being part of a team.
