So what I had to do is that I had to make up a game. So my game is called Go Home Stay Home and Go Home Stay Home is kind of like netball because one of the rule is to not run with ball and so this game is fun to play you could even verse your friends or family.
Hi Cecillia
ReplyDeleteI have enjoyed reading through your Winter Learning Journey posts and in particular like the way you are giving reasons for your thinking. That shows that you have made a connection to what the question is asking you to do. "Go Home! Stay Home!' sounds like a fun game to play. I'd love you to teach LS2 how to play it. Remember when you are writing a set of instructions you need to think carefully about the verbs that you choose so that the steps you want people to follow are clear and easy to understand. We will be looking at this next term during our writing time. Keep up the great work!

Hi Cecillia
ReplyDeleteI also like the idea of go home stay home. I actually think that it would be cool playing it next term with the rest of LS2. Keep up the cool work.

Hi Cecillia, (Daniel and Mrs A.),
ReplyDeleteAs a health and PE teacher I always love learning how to play new games and "Go Home! Stay Home!" sounds like a great one! I particularly liked the rules that you created for people wishing to play the game. In my opinion, teamwork is very important and often overlooked so I'm thrilled to see Rule #3. I'm also really happy to see that you are encouraging players not to cheat and not to fight. Great ideas!
I hope that you do get the chance to play "Go Home! Stay Home!" next term at school. It sounds like Mrs A. will be working with you on instruction writing as well. You may even be able to use this blog as an example in your class. Well done!
Please keep up the great blogging. I love your posts!
Cheers, Rachel
